Dr Weihuan Zhou served as a panellist in the 17th edition of the JHJMCC 2019 Asia-Pacific Regional Rounds

The 17th edition of the John H. Jackson Moot Court Competition (JHJMCC) 2019 Asia-Pacific Regional Rounds was held in Singapore on 23-27 February. Herbert Smith Freehills CIBEL Centre’s member, Dr Weihuan Zhou served as a Panellist in two preliminary rounds, one Semi-Final, and one of the two Grand Finals.

The JHJMCC is an international competition that simulates hearing of the WTO dispute settlement system. It was first organized in 2002 by the European Law Students’ Association (ELSA). The 17th edition of the JHJMCC 2019 Asia-Pacific Regional Rounds was hosted by Asian Law Students’ Association (ALSA) Singapore.

This time, the Asia-Pacific Regional Rounds involved around 160 participants, coaches, panellists and facilitators, which made it the largest regional round in the entire international competition.
