About the Conference

In this ascendant age of digital banking and finance, it is ever more vital for regulators, stakeholders and legal experts to continually engage in conversations on the need and content of industry regulation. At the same time, global imperatives of social and environmental sustainability cannot be overlooked and require urgent attention.

This Conference on Sustainable Banking and Financial Regulation in Asia: Principles, Practice and Innovation brings together industry stakeholders, regulatory officials and academics to discuss the latest developments on important topics such as the treatment and adoption of digital currencies and assets; financial and prudential regulation of digital banking and assets; and sustainability practices and collaboration in relation to digital finance. Speakers include Ms Ipshita Chaturvedi (Dentons Rodyk), Ms Natalie Curtis (Herbert Smith Freehills), Mr Lam Chee Kin (DBS Bank), Mr Howard Silby (National Australia Bank) and Mr Tan Boon Gin (SGX RegCo).


i) The industry panel will only be livestreamed; on-demand recording will not be available. The 2 academic panels will be available as through livestream and on-demand recording.

ii) This conference is complimentary for full-time academics, researchers and students in Singapore, and for people who live outside of Singapore who are joining online. Registrants in Singapore who are not in academia should register here.
